If I could give six stars I would. Not since the old Del Rio restaurant on Shepherd and N.Loop have I enjoyed a meal this good. To start the staff was friendly and attentive. The coffee has a hint of cinnamon in it ( totally unexpected),a delightful change of pace. The queso was truly different, white cheese with bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions it was really good. When our orders came out they were hot,and I do mean hot. Don't touch these plates unless you want to visit the burn unit at a hospital. Our food was delicious and definitely hot!!! If you come here come hungry, the portions are generous. The prices are very reasonable. I think the old saying is big things come in small packages, well that holds true at this restaurant. Its a small restaurant in a little strip center. We will be coming back. Maybe next time it will be for dinner. I can't wait to see what that's like GOOD JOB. 02/03/23 After our first two trips everything was great, but this time for some reason just didn't seem that great. I'm going to mark this one up as just okay. Maybe I wasn't feeling all that good after two doctors visits in one day. I'm sure they did their best, because the service is just great.

Went for the first time and our server was wonderful. The steak tacos were soooo good. I told my husband I’d come just for those tacos and ended up ordering two more and completely ignoring my original dinner of enchiladas which was also fabulous and my lunch for today, but those tacos got me in a choke hold. Amazing seasoning and flavor and hardly any fatty inedible pieces and at 2.75 each they really stuff them with meat. I will 100% be coming here anytime I’m wanting Mexican food. As the first Mexican restaurant I’ve been to since being away from Texas for 6 years it certainly is my new favorite. Here are my left overs and lunch for today still just as delicious. Portion sizes are great, my family of 4 ate and got an app and extras and spent under 60 so I’m happy with the prices as well

First time ordering this place and I must say the food was delicious!! I tried the chimichanga and did not disappoint! It didn’t taste store bought at all. I’ll definitely continue ordering food from here, also need to go eat at the restaurant. Only issue I had was my tacos got soggy from the cheese sauce inside the container. I recommend trying this place out.

The food, the service, the kind waiters and staff: this is like a restaurant from Mexico transported and placed down gently in Spring, Texas. The decorations feel like a rancho house. The food is wonderful, rich and tasty. Their pricing is exceptional for the quality and quantity. I’ve tried the fajitas, the tacos, the sopas, the enchiladas: all of which are good. They have a fair lunch menu and great daily specials. Really good food. Really good service. It warms your gut and hugs your soul.

Food was delicious, service was welcoming, and atmosphere was warm. Chips & salsa, rice and beans some of the best I’ve had.

This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is soooo good and very affordable, compared to any other places in the area. I always feel like I can splurge...like, on fajitas (which cost soooo much any other place I've been) and are fantastic! Oh, and the taco salad is so freaking good....so fresh and, just, YUM! And you have to try the gorditas! Okay, I'll stop, lol. Everything is so affordable and flavorful, the food just rocks! Also, everyone who works there is so nice, and they all give great service from start to finish! La Presa is a small and unassuming place that is definitely worth trying.
